History and Purpose
The Social Club was the name given to the group of Slytherin students that Tom Marvolo Riddle gathered around himself during his time at Hogwarts. This group served as the earliest incarnation of the organization that would later become the Knights of Walpurgis and, ultimately, the Death Eaters.
