James Sirius Potter

On the platform at King's Cross Station, James displays a boisterous and teasing nature. He expresses surprise and amusement at having caught his godbrother, Teddy Lupin, kissing his cousin, Victoire Weasley, aboard the Hogwarts Express, suggesting a close, familial relationship. He takes great pleasure in stoking the fears of his younger brother, Albus, who is about to start his first year at Hogwarts. James warns Albus that he might be sorted into Slytherin house, a prospect that clearly worries Albus. His parents, Harry Potter and Ginny Potter, reprimand him for his teasing. It is also revealed that James had taken the Marauder's Map from his father's desk, demonstrating a penchant for rule-bending and exploration reminiscent of the original Marauders.
